I differ with ur opinion. It is becoming very commonplace in today's society that females have and do falsely accuse men of rape, etc. There is many an innocent man siting in prison due to these type of vindictive, manipulative forms of behavior. Texas is becoming well known for the falsely accused, wrongly convicted and unjustly incarcerated. Texas justice systems are not looking for truth, just convictions!!

It's also pretty sick that the female reporter in the article is only mad at the woman who falsely accused him because it might affect other women. But no mention of what it did to an innocent guy.

1) Ideally, the template is he is supposed to be considered innocent at this stage, so he shouldn't have to clear anything; but...

2 ) With the way the courts are, even the innocent may be found guilty--and speedy trials may be a thing of the past (ask the Duke lacrosse guys); and

3 ) Think your name will be easily cleared
after a false charge? and

4 ) What penalty will the accuser receive if the charges are shown to be false? (Likely a slap on the wrist, if that.)

I just don't think that most of the charges were false perhaps those who are making up are upto money rather than justice cause yeah, just like you guys have mentioned they are filing charges just when they are undergoing divorce. But I think, most of the serious crime cases like murder or harassment or involves another life of a person were true in some sense.

Where's the restitution to her father for the two weeks he spent in jail? It's absolutely disgraceful that the sentencing judge treated his suffering and anguish as fungible. He must know that people die a little inside when injustice of this kind is visited on them. Domestic violence-by-proxy deserves at the very least a public whipping and a custodial sentence.

Yet an accusation of rape will land a man in jail, and now a disgruntled wife, or an over zealous doctor will be, at the very least, starting a file on the husband without his knowledge. In my heart,I'm very much opposed to women in the military. I think it's uncivilized and barbarbic.
However, I'm surrounded by feminist women. Have been all my life. I don't know one traditonal woman who wants a traditional family, not really. Those women I know who want a family, only want a family on feminist terms -- and on feminist terms Only.
Many women I know don't even want a family period. Or, want a "lesbian" type family. I know many women who switch one day from the next from being heterosexul to being lesbian, and back and forth.I live in Northern California.
Considering this, women should have to register for the draft. They want ALL the benefits of being liberated, ALL the "priveleges" of men, ALL the "benefits" of men ; They can now have some of the responsiblities and duties of men, including battlefield combat.
Women are wreaking havoc all over the country: They're wreaking havoc here in California,that's for sure, let them go wreak havoc on the battlefield.
Women can do anything men can do,and women can do it better, so make 'em serve and put their lives on the line for their beliefs. Joe
